Bay Area Mountain Biking – BAMBi started as a  facebook group in 2011 as a way for some friends to share stoke and get together for rides. It was set to public, so anyone could join and the group quickly grew beyond the original members and took on a life of its own. When the group hit 800 members, Joe O’Brien took the lead and asked Joel Shrock to help moderate the group. Since then we have tried to leverage the reach of the group to help promote more riding access in the bay area. BAMBi now has more than 14,000 members and is growing every day.
